Rep. Mikie Sherrill | New Jersey’s 11th District | 2018

Naval Academy graduate, Navy Pilot, and former federal prosecutor – Mikie Sherrill ran for Congress to bring new leadership to Washington. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1994, Mikie Sherrill spent almost 10 years on active duty in the United States Navy. As a Sea King Helicopter pilot, Mikie flew missions throughout Europe and the Middle East. After leaving the Navy in 2003, Mikie attended law school, earning a degree from Georgetown University. She worked in private practice and eventually joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. Mikie serves on the Armed Services Committee and the newly formed House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
