Pat Ryan | New York’s 18th District

Pat Ryan is a patriot, Democrat, West Point graduate, former Army Captain, and Ulster County Executive. Pat Ryan served two tours in Iraq where he led soldiers of all backgrounds in combat and earned two Bronze Stars. In Iraq, failure and excuses weren’t an option and Pat Ryan’s leadership brought people together to get the job done, regardless of the obstacles. In Congress, Pat Ryan will continue to find common-sense solutions to defend a woman’s right to choose, take on greedy corporations screwing working families, keep our communities safe by investing in public safety while passing common-sense gun reforms, and lower gas prices while investing in a greener future. Serving on the House Armed Services Committee, Ryan is working on issues of military preparedness, countering the threat of a rising China, and investing in the United States Military Academy and the next generation of military leaders. As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Ryan is committed to improving the daily lives of all residents in NY-18.
