Eileen Laubacher | Colorado’s 4th District

Eileen Laubacher, the daughter and granddaughter of Navy veterans, began her military career with an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy under President Reagan and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral, serving as an intelligence officer. She deployed to Afghanistan while raising five children and spent more than three decades leading sailors, advising senior national security officials, and defending the Constitution she swore an oath to protect.

After becoming an Admiral in 2018, she served as the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attache in New Delhi, India from 2019 to 2022. After finishing that tour, she joined the National Security Council to serve as the Senior Director for South Asia. Eileen retired from the Navy in October 2024 and returned home to Colorado, where she rejoined her husband, children, and three grandchildren.
