Zach Dembo | Kentucky’s Sixth District

Zach is a Lexington native, U.S. Navy JAG veteran, and lifelong public servant who has spent his career fighting for his community both in and out of uniform. Now, he hopes to step up and fight the dangerous MAGA agenda where he is needed most: the U.S. House of Representatives. Zach’s journey in public service began right after he graduated from Stanford, teaching kids through Teach for America. Then, he answered the call to serve as a Navy JAG officer. Upon completing four years active duty, Zach used his legal talents to protect Americans’ civil and constitutional rights at the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division.

In 2020, Zach brought his servant leadership home to Kentucky. Governor Andy Beshear tapped Zach to serve as his legislative director, where Zach helped manage a complex state agenda and successfully worked across party lines to deliver results for Kentucky families. Zach’s commitment to the Bluegrass State runs deep, and his his local roots drive his dedication to this community. He's running for Congress because the issues facing families in the Sixth District deserve a proven leader who can lower costs, root out corruption, and stand up for democracy.
